Hi Gordon, great site,single-handedly put me off of buying an MT 03 !
As a veteran off too many winters riding a couple of relevant tips .
Seized ignition, plenty of WD40,use the key to keep the little guard out of the way and flood it,put the key in and gently try to turn,if it won;'t more WD and try again until it does.ACF50 is a lot dearer than WD40 but does a better job.
Sticking brakes, block of wood is fine but a hide mallet is better, every Yamaha owner back in the 80's had one in his toolbox and couple of hefty whacks would free the calipers up but do no damage.I'm suprised your GSR brakes have stuck like that,I've ridden through every winter since 1975 and can't remember the last time I had any brakes seize solid,my bikes are only covered not garaged as well.
